Good games on Monday

Semifinals of the Coal Classic:
PV vs. Coeburn
Harlan vs. Appalachia

If PV plays like they did tonight in the first half they win, if they play like they did in the second half they lose by double digits. It'll probably be somewhere in between, I expect a close game. Two best free throw shooters in Southwest Virginia go head to head in this one, Garrison and Adkins are both deadly at the line. Game may come down to whoever can get to the stripe the most.

I really have no clue how to judge Harlan, they played Rye Cove and they didn't use two players. I do however expect Appy to be in for a battle, if this 6'5 kid for Harlan plays we may get to see what Fechtner can do against quality post play for the first time.

Oh and by the way I feel sorry for the Covenant Christian Academy come Monday. Otto may score 50. The games on Tuesday should be good games as well the two losers of PV/Coeburn and Appy/Harlan play along with what I think will be Council vs. Lee as well as what I've been waiting all year to see, JJK Girls vs. JIB Girls.

Otto has no reason to miss a shot at all against Covenant. He should be uncontested all night.

If Covenant had 5 number 50's on their team they'd be good. He was the only good player they had
